Wednesday Keychain Thing
Anyone who has ever stood in front of a locked door with their arms full knows the urgent wish for a third hand. The Addams family solved that problem long ago: in their house a single hand runs the errands, opens doors, writes notes and settles reassuringly on a shoulder when the moment calls for it. Everybody simply calls him Thing, and nobody in that household finds it the least bit strange. The Wednesday Keychain Thing shows him in exactly the pose he scuttles through the series in: seven centimetres of pale PVC hand, fingers stretched forward, with dark nails and the fine black and red stitching across the back of the hand and the wrist. A ring with a snap hook sits at the top, so he can ride along upside down on your keyring or your belt loop. For everyone who could use a bit of backup in the chaos of a coat pocket. He will not walk off and fetch the key for you though, you still need your own two hands for that.
