Product includes: • Radiator Cap Type A, 1.37bar / 20psi - Scratched or Dented • Billet Radiator Cap Pre-Installed These Radiator Caps have minor scratches to the outside but have never had fluid ran through them or used in any cooling system. Chase Bays high performance radiator caps are engineered to improve cooling efficiency. The radiator cap is an essential part of an upgraded cooling system and will help to safely maximize engine performance by controlling the coolant boiling point. If your cap has too low a spring pressure, your cap will push the fluid out prematurely and fill up the overflow. When we’re all driving our cars spiritedly this rapid rise in pressure is common and your stock cap is not built for this. A higher radiator cap pressure effectively raises the boiling temperature of the coolant, providing extra safety margin and preventing air pocket cavitation at the water pump. Each replacement radiator cap is manufactured from stamped stainless steel for durability and feature silicone sealing elements that are superior to natural rubber gaskets. Chase Bays Radiator Caps are designed for “mini” size (32mm ID) radiator necks only. Please confirm what style your radiator uses prior to ordering.
