Steyr Challenge HFT Bench Rest Bag Riders (Various Styles & Lengths)

Our JB3D-printed bag riders are precision-designed to fit Steyr Challenge HFT chassis'. Attaches to the extending stock rod using the original holes and has two holes for mounting in a higher or lower position, longer bolts are provided. Please note the original hook cannot be used with this bag rider. When shooting from a bench, maintaining rifle stability is essential. However, many stocks lack a solid, flat base for proper rear bag support. In some cases, angled or concave stock designs can even conflict with benchrest rules, making rifles difficult—or even unusable—in competition. That’s where our bag riders come in—providing a stable, compliant shooting platform while seamlessly integrating with your rifle. Available Styles & Sizes We currently offer two styles and three lengths to suit different setups and preferences: Flat Bag Rider Our classic design, ideal for a wide range of rear bags and shooting styles. Maintains the 25mm maximum width required under benchrest rules Provides a stable, flat contact surface Dimensions: Width: 25mm Protrusion: 20mm from the bottom of the stock Lengths available: 75mm, 100mm, 125mm V-Shaped Bag Rider (Inverted Profile) Designed for use with eared rear bags such as the Protektor 13B. The inverted V profile maximises contact within the bag ears, improving tracking and stability while remaining compliant with benchrest regulations.
