About the workshop: In this hands-on ceramics workshop, you’ll learn how to handbuild your own unique pieces. Make anything you like with the clay that you have (a bowl, platter, vase, trinket dish, butter dish, travel keep cup, etc). You will: Learn how to pinch, coil, slab-build and smooth out your pieces. Learn scoring and slipping (how to attach pieces). Use our letter stamps to write a little message or initial your piece. Use our silicone moulds to create details on your piece. Pick a glaze for your piece or paint your piece with our underglazes. No previous ceramics experience is needed — just come along, get your hands messy and have some fun! Things to note: Kiln firing is included in your ticket price. We will bisque and glaze fire your piece. It will take 3 weeks for your piece to be ready and you will receive an email once it's ready for collection. Due to limited storage space, we can not hold your items indefinitely. All items must be collected within 6 weeks unless otherwise specified.
