Alice's Adventures In Wonderland (1880) + Through the Looking-Glass (1881) By Lewis Carroll Both published by Macmillan and Co, 1880 and 1881 respectively. Illustrated by John Tenniel. Half leather bindings in slipcase which is felted to the inside. Original cloth covers and spine are bound in at the rear of each book. CONDITION Both books in very good condition. Some spotting/browning to the title page and frontispiece of Through the Looking-Glass but otherwise clean throughout. Leather bindings very good with no damage. Small neat inscription to both half-title pages. Page 136 and 137 have some offsetting from material once laid into the book. Overall a well-presented set in lovely condition. (GC2)
