Sudan's war has emptied whole neighbourhoods. The families who left them are eating whatever the day provides, and for a lot of them the day provides nothing. Orders are gathered through the month and cooked locally in one run at the end of it. Buying for the whole batch at once is what gets the cost per meal down. Orphans, displaced families, the elderly and single mothers are served first.
