SUMMER GEMSTONE 2026 Turquoise Donut Chainmaille Drape & Fringe Necklace

This striking statement necklace was created off of a large turquoise donut-shaped centerpiece. The color of the stone is a gorgeous green-turquoise with flecks of bright lime and yellow, and some black matrix veining from the original host stone. A triangular chainmaille piece wraps around the top of the turquoise, then more chainmaille is built upwards in a V shape. Carefully measured and cut slinky curb chain is connected across the V then more is draped on the sides with tapered fringe. To finish off this special necklace, a thin row of chainmaille wraps around the turquoise piece at the bottom with an elegant tapered chain tassel. - Length is adjustable from 16-1/2 to 19" (measured along the inner and top chains) - The total height of the necklace from the top chain to the bottom of the tassel is 8" - The diameter of the turquoise donut is 2-3/8" - Large lobster clasp - Need extra length? Extension chain #7 will match this necklace The name turquoise is derived from the French "turquois" meaning "Turkish" because the mineral was first brought to Europe through Turkey. However, turquoise has been mined and valued for thousands of years, namely by the ancient Egyptians and Aztecs.
