The Grid Notebook by Jason Munn

The Grid Notebook is based on a simple idea we had one day after staring at so many other notebooks: what if we made a journal that’s entirely made out of grid paper? So every page you turn to you see grid, including the front cover, spine and inside covers (all of which you could write on). So here it is, designed by Jason Munn, an Oakland resident and longtime friend of Little Otsu. The cover image is from a real leaf that Jason scanned so you won’t see anything quite like it. It’s softcover, small but with plenty of room, and fits in most back pockets. The whole book was printed in Oakland, CA with soy-based inks on 100% post-consumer recycled paper. Green 0.2” grids on natural paper, 80 pages, perfect binding. Measures approximately 4.25” x 5.25”.
