A concentrated powdered vitamin supplement containing all 13 essential vitamins plus iodine, soluble in water or mixable into food. Lafeber position it as support during sickness and stress. Questions we get asked My bird is on pellets. Do I need this? Almost certainly not, and it may do harm. A formulated diet is already balanced. My bird is on a seed mix. Then it is likely short of several vitamins — but the better fix is moving it onto a formulated diet. Use this as support while you do, with your vet's agreement. Water or food? Food is more reliable: a bird that dislikes the taste of dosed water may simply drink less, which is worse than no vitamins at all. Mix it into food the bird will finish.
