The new “TOUR AD EK” model is a next-generation, high-acceleration shaft that builds on the proprietary technologies introduced in “TOUR AD GC” and “TOUR AD FI,” while pursuing even greater speed and appropriately controlled draw-biased performance. By enhancing the shaft rigidity adopted beginning with the 2025 model and adding a heightened sense of speed and a balanced closing action to the proprietary “NEW SHAPE” and “AD SHIELD” technologies̶designed to reduce twisting and crushing̶this model further advances performance. In addition, it incorporates “3D SPEED TORNADO,” which adjusts three axes̶bending, torsion, and crushing̶thereby increasing butt-end rigidity while drawing out smooth, responsive action from the mid section through the tip, contributing to improved initial ball speed.Technology 【3D SPEED TORNADO】 Equipped on the grip end is the “3D SPEED TORNADO,” which fine-tunes three axes ̶bending, torsion, and compression. It enhances rigidity while preserving flexibility, thereby controlling unnecessary movement of the shaft itself. 【NEW SHAPE】 A newly adopted mandrel with a thicker tip design than before delivers a “thicker-tip profile.” To increase rigidity at the shaft tip, the inner diameter has been enlarged to improve ring stiffness. As a result, even with the same amount of carbon fiber as conventional designs, it provides a strong sense of stiffness and helps suppress deformation. 【AD SHIELD】 To help prevent the shaft from collapsing during the swing, carbon fibers are arranged circumferentially (hoop layer). By increasing tip stiffness, the stiffness gap with the grip end is reduced, enhancing a unified feel throughout the shaft and contributing to improved stability during the swing.
