Prototype - Pilot A-13 (Automatic)

The A-13 is inspired by the aircraft clock covered by the 1964 MIL-C-6499 specification. This prototype predates the solar model and is powered by a Miyota 82S0 automatic movement. It has the two-layer dial with a raised outer minute scale and sword-shaped hands. Unlike the current solar version, all numerals and markers on this dial are white. The 40mm stainless steel case has a flat sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown and 100m water resistance. It comes on a black mil-spec ribbed nylon strap.
