The Alchemy Collection is a collaborative series of original artwork produced by Liz Rundorff Smith and Teresa Roche. The patterns in this collection are made from the original artwork the artists create together by layering encaustic wax, pigmented pastel powders, geometric forms, and organic motifs. The encaustic artwork is then transformed into a distinct and sophisticated series of textile patterns. Palm is our take on a timeless botanical print made contemporary with abstracted form and vibrant layers of translucent color. The overlapping shapes and bright color evoke shifting sunlight, the play of shadows on sand and the vibrant warmth of sun drenched days.
