Resin Shop Timber Clear is a premium, ready-to-use single-pack waterborne urethane coating developed to protect and enhance timber while preserving its natural character. It provides the rich appearance of freshly finished timber without creating the heavy, plastic-like look associated with traditional high-gloss coatings. Designed as an easy-to-use sealer, primer and protective finish in one, Timber Clear is suitable for new and previously coated timber across a wide range of residential, commercial and architectural applications. It is suitable for professional timber fabricators and furniture makers as well as builders, landscapers, maintenance contractors and DIY users. Application & Coverage Ensure the timber is clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, grease, oil and loose material before application. Bare timber should be sanded smooth with the grain, while previously varnished surfaces should be de-glossed to provide a suitable key for adhesion. Stir thoroughly before and during use. On uncoated timber, the first coat may be thinned with up to 10% clean water. Apply evenly and avoid excessive brushing or rolling, which can cause foaming.
