TESS Electronic Start System

The electronic start system (TESS) is a complete starter system designed by experienced UK starters, with feedback from timekeepers, trusted by leading UK athletics events, including EA Senior Championships at Bedford, English Schools at Birmingham, and NAL Premier at Nottingham. Recognized by UK Athletics and awarded in the Technology Section of the 2018 European Athletics Innovation Awards, this is truly a revelation in electronic start systems. Keep guns (or electronic gun-style devices) out of athletics, with this simple-to-use wireless system, which can be used stand-alone and also links with all major timing systems. With two standard package options, there are also limitless adaptations to tailor your the system to your own needs. The basic unit offers an affordable entry point for schools and clubs transitioning away from starting guns. Both systems deliver clear sound and excellent visibility for timekeepers, athletes, and spectators at all meetings. Expandable with additional horns, directional speakers and flash units to suit larger venues and multi-lane events or cross-country settings. Easy system to set up ready for your event.
