Named in honour of Prince Henry the Navigator, whose spirit of discovery inspired the Portuguese voyages around Africa’s southern tip, it is a wonderfully expressive red with the sea breeze still in its sails. Perfect with roast lamb, grilled meats or rich Mediterranean dishes. Taste Dark cherry and blackberry are wrapped in dark chocolate, peppered ham, leather and warm spice. The palate is juicy and layered, with savoury notes, oceanic mineral freshness and lingering, supple tannins. A gentle floral lift from Viognier brings elegance to the finish.
