Adjustable Lobster Claws with Zorber

Our adjustable Lobster Claws with ZORBER® energy absorbers are rated to 5,000 lbs and feature an adjustable length from 50” to 75”. Built with super-strong 1" polyester webbing, a forged steel adjuster buckle, and 5,000 lb-rated forged steel double-action snap hooks, this lanyard offers maximum strength and adaptability. Integrated into the design, the Elk River Brand ZORBER® activates under a force of approximately 450 lbs. When tested by dropping a 282 lb weight six feet, the ZORBER® reduces average arresting forces down to 900 lbs, significantly decreasing the risk of injury during a fall (note that energy-absorbing lanyards may extend up to 60 inches during a fall arrest). Available in yellow or green, this model can be ordered with or without hardware and is designed to secure to the participant's harness waist attachment using a locking carabiner. Maximum length: 75” measured from the end of the ZORBER® to the end of the snap shackle. Minimum length: 50” measured from the end of the ZORBER® to the end of the snap shackle. ZORBER® Length: 12”
