Deep petrol blue vintage rug - G819

Deep petrol blue with a turquoise sheen, in which the old design lies across the entire surface like a dark shadow. Here and there, a faint medallion or a piece of border emerges, but it never becomes busy. This is a hand-knotted vintage rug from Turkey, with a wool pile on a cotton base. The pile is low and even, making the rug lie flat and easy to vacuum. Over the years, the colour has become slightly cloudy, and that is precisely what gives the blue its depth. With this generous size, you can anchor a complete seating area in the living room, with the front legs of the sofa and armchairs on the rug. The blue pairs well with grey, white, and light wood, and keeps a large, bright space feeling calm. The rug is 300 centimetres long and 200 centimetres wide.
