Nantucket Basket Embroidered Wool Ornament - Willa Heart Collection

Our Nantucket Basket ornament features Willa Heart's pair of true blue spaniels who share a penchant for Nantucket baskets. Based on the Willa Heart Tisket and Tasket painting, this limited-edition ornament is handcrafted from 100% merino wool, with the hydrangea festooned pups embroidered on both sides in shades of blue and lilac. This ornament is slightly larger than our other Willa Heart ornaments, measuring 8.5" from the top to the tassels. And while they may appear to be identical mirror images at first glance, look closer: Tisket holds a classic lightship basket with a whale detail, while Tasket's basket boasts a scallop shell (passed down to her by her grandmother of course). These girls live for summers on the Cape! Tisket and Tasket wear tiny embroidered lockets on chains, and naturally, their dog beds are baskets too. Their braided hanging loop bears a tiny gold tag with the Little Goodall & Willa Heart logo. This heirloom ornament makes a statement on a Christmas tree or wreath, but these girls (poodles, Cavaliers, or spaniels - whichever you please!) shine year-round. Display them on a doorknob, furniture pull, or cabinet key for a dose of Willa Heart's playful sophistication wherever you need it. If you want to hear the best gossip, hang around these two! Our exclusive embroidery technique gives Tisket and Tasket dimensional texture and visual interest - you can't help but reach out and touch the smooth embroidery and the soft merino wool. Each ornament is crafted exclusively for us in India from merino wool fabric we import from the Netherlands.
