Baba Yaga Mug
Baba Yaga is the somewhat terrifying witch of Slavic folklore - mostly depicted as a malign figure with a penchant for cannibalism, but sometimes as a more benign, magical being. In all accounts, she lives deep in the forest in a house on chicken legs - handy for a quick getaway and when travelling around, her preferred mode of transport is a large pestle and mortar. Baba Yaga sits in the mortar and steers with the pestle, using a broom to sweep away her tracks. This 14oz (400ml) fine bone china mug stands 11cm tall and measures 9 cm across the top and 5.5cm at the bottom. It is made from superior quality, fine bone china with a lovely translucence and is hand painted with a Baba Yaga design, featuring Bab Yaga on one side and her house on the other. Your order comes packed in tissue, in it's own little box, tied with a grey twist, baker's twine and finished with a swing tag, as shown. Each and every piece is painted by hand, by Toasted Glass designer and artist, Monique Low and you may to have to allow a little, extra time for your order to be made. Please refer to the Shipping section for the latest, approximate dispatch times, before you place your order, if you are concerned.
