Rapid Flame Burs

Single Use Diamond Dental Burs in the Flame Shape Rapid flame burs are sterile, single use FG diamond burs with a long, pointed profile that swells in the middle and narrows to a fine tip. The shape reaches into narrow areas and follows concave surfaces. Each bur is ready for the handpiece straight from the pack, and a pack holds 25 burs of one ISO size and grit. What the Flame Shape Is Used For The tapered tip and curved sides work well where you need to shape and finish at the same time: Crown preparation Inlay and onlay preparation Specifications Shape Flame Shank FG (friction grip, high speed) Abrasive Diamond Supplied Sterile, single use Pack size 25 burs ISO sizes 249-012, 249-014 Grits Extra Fine, Fine, Coarse (249-012); Coarse (249-014) How to Choose Size and Grit Pick 249-012 for a slimmer head and 249-014 where you need a wider one. Start with coarse to shape, then switch to fine or extra fine to smooth the same surface. The colour band on the bur shows the grit, so you can pick the right bur from a tray at a glance. Tips for Best Results Use the side of the flame for contouring and the tip only for fine detail. Keep the bur moving, with water spray and light pressure. Discard it after the patient. Do not reprocess a single use bur. Why Single Use Burs A fresh bur for every patient cuts predictably, with a diamond surface that has not been through a cleaning cycle.
