Distilled in 2008 at the Caol Ila Distillery on Islay, this single malt spent 14 years maturing in an Oloroso sherry butt. The result is a richly expressive whisky, where waves of peat smoke mingle effortlessly with notes of smoky cured meats, dark dried fruits, and warming spice. The influence of the sherry cask adds depth and sweetness, complementing the distillery’s signature coastal character and creating a complex, well-rounded dram. Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
