47mm (1.85") 3D Spinner SET (1 PAIR) for the Dare Lockheed Electra L-188 / P3 Orion

Pat Tritle's Lockheed L-188 Electra (kit originally from Dare Hobby, now sold by BRODAK) is a spectacular model but the spinner that comes with the kit is not the correct scale shape. Since we make custom 3D-printed spinners, we designed a 47mm x 44mm spinner that is close to the correct shape and has the hole in the tip, just like the full-size plane! The spinner set include one standard and one reverse-rotation (CR) version. These are meant to be used with a 2-blade APC 8x6E thin-blade propeller (part#LP08060E and LP08060EP) as recommended for the kit. FOR ELECTRIC MOTORS ONLY. This spinner was custom-made by Rabid Models, and other versions can be produced if you need - for example it could be made as a 3-blade or 4-blade version and it can be enlarged or reduced in size. Contact us for details! The spinner's backplate has a 5mm hole and installed on the motor using a prop adapter with a 5mm shaft. The spinner cone simply snaps on - so no other hardware is needed! One spinner weighs 10.75gms. PLEASE NOTE: This sale is for TWO complete spinners (2 cones and TWO backplates), standard and CR rotation. You will need to order two sets for the 4-engine Electra L-188 or P3 Orion. The prop adapters and propellers are not included. The spinners are made from PETG plastic. One spinner weighs 10.75gms. To finish, the spinner may be sanded smooth and then painted with any plastic-compatible paints (such as acrylics, or Tamiya spray paint).
