Linen Duvet Cover

The duvet cover is the layer most people overlook — but it sits right at the boundary between you and whatever's inside, and its fabric determines whether heat and moisture can escape upward or get pushed back down toward you. Most covers — dense cotton, polyester blends — create a barrier at exactly the wrong place. Linen keeps that pathway open. My approach in cooler months: For sleeping, don't insert your duvet into the cover, rather, keep the duvet cover on top of your duvet - or vice versa works even better. It gives you more control as your temperature swings through the night than a single heavy duvet ever will. (Duvet insert not included.)
