Archangel Michael Daily Devotions Prayer Cards 2.0

About six years ago, I got a DM from a federal inmate looking for some spiritual support. At the time, I was making a lot of oils and candles and the occasional mojo bag or amulet, but I knew there was no way I could get a mojo or an amulet through the prison's mail screening. I brought the question to the altar and saw a vision of a prayer card dressed in oil. I scanned the Bureau of Prisons regulations - religious materials were permitted items for inmates to receive and possess. That night, I designed the first three prayer cards: Saint Michael, Santo Niño, and High John. Those first cards went out to him that same week - three different prayer cards, each prepared with a different spiritual formula, innocuously slipping past the scrutiny of the guards screening the prisoners' mail. It worked - and if these cards could get into prison unnoticed, then they could go anywhere. These Archangel Michael cards are made from my favorite Ethiopian image of the Archangel, from the mural on the door of an Orthodox church dedicated in his honor. The four backs offer different ways to work with Michael. The Act of Consecration is for placing yourself, your family, and your household under his protection. The New Adaptation is an expanded version of the traditional Prayer to Saint Michael, while the Traditional Prayer is a modern translation of the classic Catholic prayer. The Bearer Is Protected By card depicts the magical seal of the Archangel Michael, declaring the bearer under his protection. Choose from four backs: Prayer to Michael - New Adaptation; The Bearer Is Protected By...; Prayer to Michael - Traditional Version; or Act of Consecration to Archangel Michael. The fronts are gold-foil embossed on heavy matte cardstock. The backs on the 2.0 cards are printed in full color for increased readability. All cards come laminated for intense altar use or pocket carrying, and each is dressed in the Archangel Michael cologne I formulated and use for him. Keep one on your altar, carry one in your pocket, take one to work or school, or bring one with you when you travel.
