Mackinac Island, MI | Harbor Rat® Hoodie

Early morning at the Mackinac Island State Harbor, the transient slips are full and the ferries are already running, and the air off the Straits still has some Lake Huron in it. That's when you pull the hood up, wrap both hands around a coffee, and walk the docks before the souvenir shops have their doors propped open. Harbor Rat® on the chest tells the people tied up next to you that you know this water, or at least that you've been lucky enough to cross it. It's a good hoodie for the May shoulder season and for an October evening when the deck gets cold fast. Across the chest it reads 45°51.01'N X 84°36.88'W, the port of call for Mackinac Island. Those numbers are where you tied up, where the lines went over, where you finally stopped watching the chart plotter. Wear it on the harbor walk, on the bow, or on the ride home, and anybody who plots the coordinates will land right where you were. On the chest: the Harbor Rat® script, the coordinates of the Mackinac Island harbor (45°51.01'N X 84°36.88'W), and MACKINAC ISLAND, MI beneath.
