Avocado - San Miguel

San Miguel is a Hawaiian avocado variety, selected and grown in Hawaii alongside other well known island cultivars such as Sharwil and Greengold. The tree forms a medium-sized, spreading canopy and is a moderate but regular bearer of quality avocados. The fruit are good sized, and have a creamy, rich and flavourful flesh. San Miguel matures through autumn into the beginning of winter, exactly the window when Hass has finished and hasn't yet come back into season, making it a useful gap-filler for a mixed planting.
