The active compounds are absorbed through the gut wall and carried in the bloodstream to the skin, where research suggests they may make the horse less appealing to flies and other biting insects. One 25ml serve a day, stirred through hard feed, and you are done. It is garlic based, but it is not straight garlic. The polysulphides are standardised batch to batch, which is the difference between a supplement that performs the same every feed and one that varies with whatever garlic went into the mix. Zinc, seaweed and cider vinegar are in there as well to support skin and coat condition. Allow up to 21 days of feeding before you judge how it is working.
