A Thousand Summers, Print

A Thousand Summers is a reproduction print by Nelson Flower Press and is the result of a two-year pursuit through the seasons. More than a collection of flowers, it is a study in understanding them. To bring large blooms such as peonies and dahlias into an A1 composition, each was carefully taken apart and rebuilt petal by petal so it could sit flat while retaining its natural presence. The process involved constant trial and error, with entire harvests sometimes lost to browning or mould—an inherent risk when working with living material. Every flower in the work has been placed by hand, forming a slow, deliberate reconstruction of a garden held in perpetual bloom. Sizes available: A4–A1. Please note A1 is available as a preorder item.
