The second release in the Phoenix Legends Series commemorates Notre Dame's legendary 1977 "Green Jersey Game," one of the most iconic moments in Fighting Irish football history. Only 1,500 bottles were released for the U.S. market, making it a highly collectible whiskey for both Irish whiskey enthusiasts and Notre Dame fans. This 16-year-old single malt was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before spending an additional two years in Sicilian Marsala wine casks. The extended finishing period imparts remarkable richness and complexity, layering fruit, spice, and dessert-like notes onto Teeling's elegant single malt foundation.
