Originally created in 2020 in collaboration with multi-sensory artist Erika Senft Miller, Seeking Balance returns as a limited edition from St. Clair Scents. The perfume was first composed in the wake of the COVID pandemic: a moment when the world felt unsteady, suspended and profoundly out of balance. Diane St. Clair built the fragrance around materials with a natural feeling of calm and centre, including lavender, rose, jasmine and vetiver. Retired in 2023 to make room in the St. Clair Scents collection, Seeking Balance has now been revisited for another turbulent time. This limited edition retains the beloved character of the original, but has been reformulated with Indian sandalwood: a beautiful, grounding material that deepens the composition and gives it a warmer, more meditative base. Seeking Balance is a fragrance of restoration rather than escape. Aromatic lavender brings clarity, rose and jasmine open into quiet radiance, while vetiver and sandalwood draw the perfume back to earth. Soft, composed and deeply reassuring, it feels like a breath taken slowly: a return to stillness when the world outside has lost its centre. Composition: Bergamot, Mandarin Green, Lemon, Galbanum CO2 Lavender absolute and maillette, Rose Bulgaria, Geranium, Jasmin, Cassie Abs, Orris Butter Patchouli, Oakmoss, Labdanum, Vetiver, Vanilla, Carrot Seed, Sandalwood India, Tonka Bean, Musks Perfumer: Diane St. Claire, 2020 inci list: Alcohol denat., Fragrance, Benzyl benzoate, Benzyl salicylate, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Hexyl cinnamal, Hydroxy-citronellol, Isoeugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Oakmoss and Treemoss Extract
