Malachite Window Necklace This piece feels almost architectural to me. The malachite itself is large and striking — over an inch tall — with those impossible natural rings and layered green patterns that look more like ink swirling in water than stone formed inside the earth. Instead of surrounding it with a heavy bezel, I set it with minimal corner prongs to let the malachite stay open and visible, almost like a small framed window. The shape and proportions ended up with this elegant slightly vintage feeling to them — something that reminds me a little of 1920s jewelry and old decorative ironwork.
