This update pushes the limits of marathon technology, offering a more aggressive ride while maintaining the comfort needed for the final miles. Sustainable Speed (The Upper) Built with a commitment to the planet, the upper features a recycled corn-based yarn (65% ETPU / 35% Nylon). This eco-friendly mesh is ultra-light, breathable, and highly abrasion-resistant. Precision Fit: The MORPHIT lacing system and asymmetrical Comfort-Fit tongue provide a secure midfoot lockdown while eliminating lace pressure on the instep. Flexible Support: A "Heel No-Counter" design reduces weight and allows the shoe to mold to the foot, while the Big 3 Logo provides structural lateral support. Maximum Energy Return (The Midsole) The platform has been upgraded to deliver a more "surging" foot feel through elite-level cushioning. Higher Stack: The midsole thickness has increased by 3mm (now 39mm in the heel), approaching the maximum IAAF legal limit for peak impact protection. Premium Materials: Utilizing a VESTAMID® PEBA midsole and a 4mm supercritical molded sockliner, the Flame 5 ensures explosive rebound and softness in every stride.
