Brut Wave Sconce

The french word brut translates to crude or raw. As a contrast to the more decorative, we celebrate the tension generated by the layering of divergent influences including Brutalist expression. Here, integrity and honesty of materials, bare structure and geometry, paired with curvilinearity take center stage. The Brut Wave Sconce is intimately scaled, fabricated in solid brass with an asymmetric softly folding, matte textured panel of mouth blown glass. No two are exactly alike.
