VINTAGE 1973 ROLEX LADIES OYSTER-DATE 31mm MODEL 6466 BLACK DIAL ORIGINAL BOXES. This outstanding Ladies Rolex Oyster-Date is in superb condition. This is the model 6466, which was the final edition of the Ladies manual-winding oyster series. The late model 6466 series like this use the Rolex calibre 1225 manual-winding precision movement with calendar. This is one of the finest and most reliable hand-wound movements produced by the company. Dated to 1973 by the serial number 3828290 between the lugs. The case measures 31mm across the bezel, not including the crown and 36mm tip-to-tip. The case is in very, very nice original condition, with no dings or scratches. The back is in excellent condition, with no scratches and just a little light rubbing from where the bracelet has touched over the years. The watch retains the original brushed satin finish with polished sides and bezel. This has to be one of the finest condition oyster-dates that we have had in a very long time. The glossy black dial with gilt printing is absolutely beautiful, with contrasting polished gold baton divisions, crown and hands. The glass is pristine and scratch-free. The late model, solid-link 78350 oyster bracelet is in good condition still and will fit up to an eight inch wrist. Complete with the original presentation boxes, both inner and outer. This is a superb example of the last of the manua-wind ladies oyster-dates. We believe that you will struggle to find a better one.
