Gotland's provincial coat of arms

Poster featuring the coat of arms of Gotland from the work Suecia Antiqua et Hodierna, created during the second half of the 17th century by Erik Dahlbergh — one of the most distinguished image-makers of Sweden’s Age of Greatness. The motif shows the coat of arms of Gotland placed above a lively harbour scene with large sailing ships and a city silhouette in the background. In the shield appears the Gotlandic ram bearing a cross banner, crowned with an open crown. At the top of the image stands the Latin title “Insigne Comitatus Gotlandiæ”. Frame not included.
