Antique bronze sculpture of a whistling boy by Vlaclav Szczeblewski

A beautiful and fine detailed bronze sculpture depicting a whistling boy standing on bare feat with his hands in his pockets. This antique sculpture is known as 'Mousse Siffleur' and is made by the Polish sculptor Vlaclav Szczeblewski. It is made of a good quality bronze and it is mounted on a round red coloured marble base. Height: 24 cm / 9.5 inches. Weight: 1.3 kilo's / 2.9 lbs. Condition: very good (see images). It is signed 'V. Szczeblewski' and dated '1889'. And it is also has the founders mark on the side of the base. A decorative and well-made piece of antique art!
