Handcrafted wearable art specially selected for MT Gallery AER is the Welsh word for air. An invisible but powerful element all around us, the effects of which can only be seen when it interacts with things in our environment: the carved lines across the acetate reflect the windswept sand lines at the beach edge. This frame stands apart from the rest but is gently tethered to the Ffin family of designs with signature notes of line, with cross lamination detail around the lens and along the temple. Materials: Italian made Mazzucchelli M49 Bio-Acetate. Cellulose acetate and a plasticizer of vegetable origin. Lenses: Italian made Divel Green Line Sun Lens (60% repurposed plastic, 40% organic material) with anti-reflective inner film. Cat 3 UV400 protection. Base 2 curve. Design details Silver metal hardware. 7-barrel hinge. Crafted cross lamination details.
