One of our favourite watches at Bulang & Sons has always been the no-date Rolex Submariner, and among its many variations, the Maxi MK1 dial stands out as a true collector's classic. Presented here is exactly that configuration: a reference 5513 featuring the highly desirable first-generation "Maxi" dial with its distinctive oversized luminous plots. The case is beautifully preserved, retaining thick crown guards and strong, well-defined lugs. It is complemented by a lovely fat-font bezel insert that remains free from major defects or heavy scratches and has aged gracefully to a subtle dark-blue hue. The oversized hour markers and hands have developed a soft cream-coloured patina, perfectly matching the character of the watch and enhancing its vintage appeal. The watch is fitted with a Rolex Oyster bracelet, reference 93150, in very nice condition, complete with 580 end links and a clasp stamped "SP5."
