This long bench is another great, unique furnishing piece, as the fabric is old, repurposed Turkish floor Kilim. Although the kilim is old, it will remain a serviceable, valued item for many years. Moreover, the old kilim looks much better over time; the colours are much softer, and age, in this instance, is kind. A very expensive furnishing fabric; with this in mind, we ensure waste is kept to the absolute minimum. This desire to preserve every useable piece enables us to produce some smaller pieces, such as draught excluders or small cushions. With our footstool, how each part of the kilim is cut (depending on condition and wear) can make the stool look very interesting; the pattern or Motifs may be offset rather than centred, making pieces unique and different.
