In the small Taranaki town of Manaia, there was once a curious claim - being home to more Citroën cars per capita than Paris, France.The reason? A local enthusiast, ‘Mad’ Max Suter-Mckay who couldn’t get enough of the quirky French machines as he peddled them to any and every prospective motorist that he could via his dealership, Waimate Motors.
