Selling as a setting An unique dining suite by Pongrass Bros, Australia, circa early 1960s. Founded by brothers George and Alexander Pongrass in the 1950s - 1970s. Pongrass Bros became known for producing well-made Australian furniture that embraced the clean, functional aesthetic of the mid-century era. Their use of moulded materials, steel construction and practical design has made their furniture increasingly sought after by collectors today. This suite presents in excellent vintage condition, retaining its original cream leather seat pads, all of which are free from rips or stains. The powder-coated steel legs remain in excellent condition, and each chair is sturdy, comfortable, and structurally sound. The suite is paired with its original Pongrass Bros laminate dining table, which also presents in excellent vintage condition with only light age-related wear.
