Yellowhammer - Melyn Yr Eithin - is an award winning dry traditional mead made with Welsh honey and is the perfect mead for white wine drinkers. 1 Star ⭐️ Great Taste Award 2023 Bronze Medal 🥉 Mead Madness Cup 2019 With a flavour profile similar to white wine, it retains a little hint of honey sweetness but it is mainly the flavour of the honey that remains. It has a high acidity and is lovely and fresh, ideal for enjoying with a main course. We recommend using this mead to make Moules Marinière – it also goes well with oysters, sea bass and chicken dishes and to accompany a traditional curry. Serve as a wine or mix with tonic or sparkling elderflower. This mead is 13% ABV and comes in a 500ml glass bottle with a resealable wooden-topped cork closure.
