Celestial Voyage

The year is 2026. You are a space traveler journeying through the vast Fiber Arts Universe. Your quest, should you choose to accept it, is to visit at least three planets over the course of the summer (June 1 through August 31) and send regular transmissions back to the Yarn Social Space Station documenting your adventures and discoveries. Voyagers have two options for their mission; one will earn you points that can be exchanged for currency at the Space Station's yarn shop, and the other is for those seeking adventure and exploration without earning points. Both options allow you to participate fully in all activities and events during the summer. For voyagers who choose the first option, one-half of your registration fee will be donated to a local organization (currently TBD; we'll let you know once that org has been chosen). A travel brochure will be provided to all travelers by June 1, the start date of your voyage. The brochure will include everything you need to know about the Fiber Arts Universe (the six known planets*, at least; we hear there are many undiscovered worlds just waiting to be visited) and details about how to submit your transmissions (and how to read them; it's good to keep up on what your fellow travelers have found, in case you'd like to join them on their adventures). *The known planets are: Knitting, Crochet, Spinning, Cross Stitch, Embroidery, and Needle Felting.
