This Staves of Honor release is a 10 year 8 month rare MGP 46% wheated bourbon that was finished in a custom Kelvin medium toast + level 1 char barrel. Only 76 bottles were made. $10 from every bottle goes back to Staves of Honor. Nose - Honey, honeyed breakfast cereal, vanilla, cinnamon, maple, brown sugar, oak, sweet tea, and honey butter. Palate - Buttered popcorn, honey, vanilla bean, sweet tea, caramel, cereal, maple, and butterscotch. Finish - Oak, leather, vanilla extract, honey, butterscotch, tea, pear, Bob’s Soft Peppermints, and a subtle white pepper. Bottled at cask strength of 115.4 proof. Distillery pick up only.
