The winemaking remains steadfastly traditional, utilizing large Slavonian oak casks for maturation. This minimalist approach allows the unique limestone soil to dictate the wine's identity without any heavy winemaking footprints. The 2021 release is an incredibly tidy, precise drink. It avoids any heavy, jammy traps, showing a crisp, energetic mix of sour red currants, crushed stones and a wild, stalky herb complexity. The structural bones are right out front, with a tight web of chalky tannins and a refreshing line of native acidity.
