GeoMicroSat (GMS)
GeoMicroSat (GMS) is a small ITAR-free geosynchronous satellites that can be customized for a wide variety of missions. The spacecraft is 3-axis stabilized. Its propulsion system uses a combination of hydrazine monopropellant thrusters for momentum control, backup attitude control and East/West stationkeeping and Hall thrusters for North/South Stationkeeping. Four reaction wheels, a star camerea and a MEMS IMU are used for pointing control. The dry mass is 292 kg and it carries enough fuel for 10 years of life. The solar system provides 4.4 kW of power. The communication variant is configured for Internet with a C-band up/downlink and Ka-band cross-links. Multiple GeoMicroSats can fly in the same box with automated navigation and stationkeeping. They can coordinate Internet service delivery. Other applications are agriculture sensing and dedicated secure communications. Contact us for more information!
