It has a loose fit and relatively narrow sleeves for contrast—oversized yet elegant. The sweater is very easy to knit, requiring only a few techniques, making it ideal for beginners. It can be worked from either cotton or a lightweight virgin wool-cashmere blend and is a perfect companion for spring and summer in both versions. Techniques used: German Short Rows, left- and right leaning knitted and purled increases. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) To fit chest circumference: 74-81 (82-89) 90-97 (98-107) 108-117 (118-127) cm / 30-32 (33-35) 36-38 (38-42) 43-46 (47-50)” Measurements Chest circumference: 102 (110) 116 (124) 132 (142) cm / 40.2 (43.3) 45.7 (48.8) 52 (55.9)” Total length: 51 (53) 55 (57) 60 (64) cm / 20.1 (20.9) 21.7 (22.4) 23.6 (25.2)” The sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 20 cm / 7.9”. For larger sizes (XL and XXL), slightly less positive ease of about 15 cm / 5.9” is recommended. For example, if you have a chest circumference of 94 cm / 37”, you should knit size M. With a height of 1.76 m / 5’9” and a chest circumference of 89 cm / 35”, I am wearing the sweater here in size S (natural white) and size M (dark blue) Yarn 200 (225) 250 (275 - 300) 325 (350-375) g ‚Como‘ by Lamana (100 % Pure Wool, 120 m/ 25 g) Como are "Superlight" yarn qualities. Despite a yardage of 120 m per 25 g, these yarns have the characteristics of a DK yarn. The sweater is therefore light as a feather and airy.
