[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]Millie – Scunthorpe Adoption fee £250 5years 10months Female, Chocolate Dapple Smooth Coat Tweenie (9kg) Neutered Millie is a gorgeous little dachshund who is a certified, gold-standard love bug. If your idea of a perfect day involves non-stop cuddles and a warm, affectionate companion glued to your side, Millie is ready to apply for the position of your permanent lap warmer. She absolutely adores people and children, making her a joyful presence for anyone she meets. Like any true dachshund, Millie comes packed with a wonderfully cheeky personality. She is beautifully stubborn, particularly when it comes to her culinary preferences – she has a favourite treat she is utterly obsessed with and will politely, yet firmly, refuse any substitutes. When she isn’t demanding her preferred snacks, her favourite pastime is putting her teeth to work on an unsuspecting sock, which she considers the ultimate toy. On her walks, Millie displays a few classic breed traits. She can be a bit barky when she is on her lead, but don’t let that fool you; once she is off-lead, her social side comes out. However, she definitely prefers to be the centre of attention at home, as she doesn’t cope well living with other dogs. Millie needs a peaceful, single-pet household where she can reign supreme. Millie is looking for an understanding owner who can help her navigate a few specific needs. She previously suffered from IVDD but made a full recovery thanks to dedicated crate rest. Additionally, she experiences separation anxiety and gets very distressed when left alone. Her new family will need to be patient, keeping her company while gradually and gently building up her confidence being by herself. If you have a sock drawer you don’t mind sharing and a space on your sofa, Millie is waiting to fill your home with an immense amount of love and laughter.
