Distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2025, the whisky has spent its full 20 years maturing in a Recioto della Valpolicella hogshead. Recioto della Valpolicella is a rich Italian dessert wine made from partially dried grapes, and its influence brings an abundance of red fruit, citrus and warming spice to the spirit. Nose: Prominent tangy fruits – orange zest, cranberries and big red wine notes, with a serving of Weetabix. Palate: Cocoa combines with blood orange, apricots and pomegranate. Sweet barley sugars and Jaffa cakes. Emboldened by wonderful spices – cinnamon and star anise.
