Domaine Renaud Boyer Coteaux Bourguignons Blanc ‘MP’
Renaud Boyer has around 5 hectares of vines split across Puligny, Saint-Romain and Beaune, vinifying the wines in his grandfather's old cellar in Meursault. The fruit is grown organically, all vineyard work is done by hand and horse, and the wines are bottled without fining, filtration or added sulphur. The name 'MP' stands for 'Maranges Plantée', a nod to the specific plot of old vine Aligoté from which this cuvée comes. Razor-sharp, incredibly mineral, and bursting with green apple, lemon zest, crushed chalk, and a faint hint of white flowers. Bone-dry and intensely focused on the palate with a gripping, saline finish.
